My Easy Sell How the Spanish family organized a lottery draw for their house after falling in desperation to sell it in the traditional way.

Center of Europe. Spain. Province of Castellón. The town called Segorbe with a population of only 9,000 people.
The Bolumar family inherits a beautiful four-bedroom house with a magnificent terrace. Everything would be fine, but the house is not actually in need to the Bolumar family, and it is the year of 2013.

The real estate market is against the sellers, the consequences of the global financial crisis of 2008 are still fresh, and the annual price increase for Spanish real estate is less than inflation, if there is any. In addition, the common problems of the Euro Zone, which, all together, do not simplify the situation at all, including the bank mortgage issues.

The Bolumar family has faced all these problems on the real estate market during a raw of the unsuccessful attempts to sell their house in the traditional way for a year. Within a year of this object expiration placed at the cost of 90,000 euros only, not a single buyer has been found. More precisely, not quite so – there were still people, who wanted to buy their house, but the banks refused to approve a mortgage loan to them, and the family did not want to reduce the cost of the house further.

Therefore, the owners of the house had a brilliant idea: to make a lottery draw with their house as a prize. But here there are the laws... It took the owners of the house one year (!) to fill out the proper documents, to get the required permits, to make a site and, finally, to start the drawing process in the nationwide lottery. The result was a "happy end" as the seller received the desired “net” amount thanks to their non-traditional approach to the sale of their property. And the ticket number 42916, bought for just few euros, made his owner happy.
